Re: For those that have met athletes, which ones were the nicest?
Shane Battier and Grant Hill are both genuinely nice people.
Rasheed was a dick because he got a ****load of free food at Hooters and didn't tip my (at the time) girlfriend. His table's bill got comped, and he couldn't even leave a tip?

Ray Allen's very nice and kind but a bit cheesy.
Kemba Walker is pretty cool as well and well-spoken too.
Jeremy Lamb is funny as fuuk
Don't even know the name of the Bruins guys but I've been up close before.

I've met Shane and he was in fact quite affable.
My brother met Rasheed and said he wasn't terribly warm. He was picking up food from my brother's restaurant. I think someone complimented him on his game and apparently Sheed gave a disinterested "Oh. Thanks." My brother was a little bummed he wasn't more jovial but to be completely honest, I bet Wallace gets lines like that from every random place he goes: restaurant, grocery, gas station. It has to be tiresome, especially when you've got your kids with you and you're just trying to get in and out of a place.

Good college starter
Re: For those that have met athletes, which ones were the nicest?
I met Dikembe last. January when i attended this youth conference that his daughter was also attending. He didn't seem to want to tale a picture at first (but I understood since he probably just came off the flight and if I asked, everybody would start coming in) but he still made way for it. Once I told him I was from the Philippines though his face lit up then he started talking about Pacquiao. Nice dude. Wish a lot more players would follow his lead and do more charitable things for his earnings.

Re: For those that have met athletes, which ones were the nicest?
Met Kevin Durant when the Thunder vs. Mavericks had a preseason game here in my city. Only NBA game we've ever had. Anyways he was staying at the Hyatt hotel and a lot of us waited for him. He signed every single persons memorabilia. Awesome dude. And it was cold as **** too, yet he took out the time to be nice. Westbrook is a whole different story. Just threw up a peace sign and went inside. Didn't matter to me though. I'm sure they all get sick of it sooner or later. I'll post the pics when I get home. On my phone right now.

Met Clyde Frazier at a Knicks pre season game. He seemed pretty pissed off that I approached him...I got him to sign my ticket but didn't ask for a pic because he seemed pretty aggravated...must have caught him at a bad time.

The most impactful Rugby Union player of all time Jona Lomu (had to stop due to kidney problems), dude was a friendly giant but boy if you stood in front of him on a rugby field you were going to fly backwards. Dude had offers to come try out to be a NFL running back as well.

When I was like 12 I was at a Toy store outside of Phoenix with my Mom and Shawn Marion was there, we needed a toy from the top shelf and my Mom (who is like 5'2") asked him if he could grab it for us, and he did and then gave us an autograph. Really nice guy.

Re: For those that have met athletes, which ones were the nicest?
I'm going to add BJ Penn. I think it was after his fight with GSP. I was touring around with him when he was contracted to do some signings at supplement stores.
He was talking about how they made him play the bad guy role and he was like, sure, why not? He is actually a stand up chill dude. GSP is actually an asshole. I had drinks with Penn and his PR guy with RVCA. Even play fought with him. I think it's the Hawaiian in him. Just super laid back.
Brock Lesnar is a straight up prick. We had him sponsored but he acted like a bitch when it came to do events.
Mir is a cocky dude as well.
