But anyway this is just too damn sweet. Not sweet in the early 90s slang way, but sweet in the "tastes so good" way. We're in the FINALS! It's taking forever to click in that we're really there
Truly a great time to be a Cavs fan, I knew we would have a good chance against the Pistons, but actually doing it like this is sweeter than I had dreamed off. And it may just be the start.
First ofcourse there is the finals, and once again everyone is dismissing the Cavs chances, but the thing is we have nothing to lose, Cavs could get swept and it would still be the greatest year in franchise history, everything from here on out is just a great bonus.
But even beyond that the Cavs have a very bright future, Miami is only getting older, I have a feeling the Pistons will break up their core after this loss, and we're better than the Wizards. With the top lottery picks going west that leaves Cleveland and Chicago to battle it out the next few years, and in that matchup I love our chances.
