Default Screening of rare basketball films

http://www.dispatch.com/content/stor...h-madness.html

http://wexarts.org/film-video/rare-basketball-films

"Inspired by our popular Rare Baseball and Football programs, and to help get you ready for March Madness, we’re presenting our first Rare Basketball Films as the NCAA tournament gets into full swing. The program draws on newsreels from the Hearst Metrotone News Collection at the UCLA Film & Television Archive and features such past greats as Bill Russell, David Thompson, Jerry West, Ohio State great Jerry Lucas, Bob Cousy, Bill Walton, Elgin Baylor, and more! Following the films, join us for an onstage conversation with Ohio State great Bill Hosket Jr., who led the Buckeyes in scoring and rebounding for three consecutive years and played on the gold medal-winning 1968 US Olympic team, as well as the 1970 NBA champions, the New York Knicks. (approx. 120 mins., video)"

No one seems to give a shit about this, but I'm going to keep trying to possibly contribute to the Wilt Chamberlain Archive and all of ISH viewing pleasure

Introduced myself as Jonathan and told him Adam sent me their way...But I guess they don't read their emails too thoroughly

Yeah seriously, was any of the stuff listed new to you? Wouldn't surprise me if you've looked here yourself in the past

1/31/1961 BASKETBALL - COUSY AND CO. SCALP WARRIORS [Boston, Massachusetts; Celtics vs Philadelphia; Bob Cousy; Bill Russell; Wilt Chamberlain]

*Edit, so far I've written down 35 things to request, most having to do with Wilt, Russell, Oscar, Jerry and Baylor. But also threw in a Blazers practice footage with Walton....And may even add their clips of early/mid 50s NBA games
