[QUOTE=berraco]Yao is my first because he is the most dominating guy by far, the most difficult to defend and a good defender. He always makes the difference.
    QUOTE]

Papaloukas isnt as athletic so i think ginobili has an advantage there but rest is similar.

Yao is definetly NOT a big difference maker. yes he is the reason china is in top 15 of the world but without him, the rockets were absolutely unstopable plus they wanna play a faster style so he will be even slower and the guy isnt really athletic sort of like a bigger ilgauskas or roy hibbert from georgetown, except hibbert doesnt have that many offensive skills

For me he still is a difference maker (words "big" and "huge" are from you, not mine). I see Yao like Shaq was (for me the prime Shaq is better player, a real huge difference maker, but he is the best for the comparison). Put him in a normal roster, and they will be making playoffs. Put him in a good team, and you can see them making conference finals, even in the West we have today.

ok so if he is such a difference maker then he shouldnt need such a great roster plus he has tmac battier scola and a bunch of average point guards plus a ok bench but their still not going past the first round

I think they can make it this year if they are not affected by many injuries, but we will see. Hope I won't have to swallow my words... :)

i dont have a problem with them winning but i think yao should be a beast not getting blocked by little 5 foot dudes. besides that i think hes not a bad player he just sucks compared to how he should play. he should be like a shaq on offense but hes too soft, and mutombo on defense even better because yao is a half foot taller then the guy who plays behind him.

All of them play in the nba,do you watch european basketball?some aren't even european,Nash,Ginobili,Noccioni,Gordon?(born in London and great britain have convinced him to play for them to try qualify for olympics, but its debateable to call him european,i ams ure he count with the fingers of one hand the times he has been there.May I remind you that not all europeans want to play in the nba,Bodiroga one of the best players of the last 15 years never did and never wanted to.
