And you believe that your team plays great defense?
God you Suns fans are delusional.
Did I saw they play great defense? No, I said they have 2 great defenders.
The Suns play good defense, not great. They certainly aren't one of the best, but they are far from one of the worst.
Marion and Raja Bell are among the best defenders in the league according to the experts, and James Jones is pretty good. Corey Brewer would be nice, but the Suns need to bank on the awfulness of the Hawks and draft somone worthy of the 4th/5th pick.
Cheers to the Hawks sucking YET AGAIN. It's paying off for someone.
Why would they want Chris Anderson minus the drug problems?
Al Horford fits and works...athletic big man who knows how to score on the inside and outside. Running pick n rolls with him and Amare will give teams headaches. And Horford is a good defender as well..he wont get abused like Noah.
Noah clearly fits better and will be the better NBA player. Horford will have an average jumper and at best an average post game. He'll rebound some, but isn't as tall as you'd like. Can't make up for his shortcoming like Noah can.
Noah won't even have many shortcoming in the Phoenix system.
Because Brandan Wright is a top 3 prospect. Should be a lock...GM's would be flat out retarded for passing him up. Bucks included. Suns land him and i think Stern should try rigging the season to eliminate thier "luck" in aquiring so much phucking talent. : Not ignoring the potential Brandan could go 4 just saying he shouldnt.
Julian Wright is not a top 3 pick my friend. Mid lottery.
Doesnt Phx have cap issues they gotta address?
Yeah, you'd be stupid not to take Brandon Wright if your the Bucks (or anyone else). Especially since Charlie V looks like a total liability on defense.
Wishful thinking I guess.
After Diaw and Barbosa's new contracts kick in, Suns are at 76 million before adding any draft picks. This is assuming Kurt Thomas picks up his player option, in which case the Suns will have a 8 million dollar expirer.
I fully expect to package the other first rounders for some cheap role players or some cap relief. They might use the 4/5 pick but they might end up trading it with another player for someone who could help them immediately. I would be all for it if Brandon was off the board.
If the Suns don't get Brandon Wright and don't trade the pick, I'm hoping for Horford or maybe Julian Wright.
Noah clearly fits better and will be the better NBA player. Horford will have an average jumper and at best an average post game. He'll rebound some, but isn't as tall as you'd like. Can't make up for his shortcoming like Noah can.
Noah won't even have many shortcoming in the Phoenix system.
I am inclined to agree with Gobb on this one. I see Horford as a much better NBA player. The best that Noah can get, with no offensive game, is Tyson Chandler, but I don't see that happening.
As for the Suns, I'd love them to see them get Brandon Wright, and anybody would be dumb to pass him up. He'd be perfect for the Suns system. So would Julien Wright, but they have Shawn Marion already, unless they trade Marion (please) that is...
Suns won't have to worry about cap issues with a draft choice as they'll have him cheap for a few years. Sometime in the near future Marion or Diaw will be moved from the Suns, especially if they draft another wing-ish player.
