Jan 5, 7:30pm EST Game Thread: Houston Rockets (19-14) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (8-26)
Game just started... Cavs off to a hot start. They lead 10-6 early on.

Great start for the Cavs. Tristan is beasting inside. He has six rebounds just six minutes into the game.
Kyrie has had some dimes so far, too... 4 assists already.

Annoying 1st quarter, Harden hasn't gotten his at all, so not too surprised we are down.

This is the first time I've really had the opportunity this year to sit down and watch the Rockets. The pace is absolutely insane... A little too overboard, imo. I understand what they are trying to do, but there should still be a semblance of control out there.
Maybe they just had an especially rough quarter.

I wish I knew how well Lin shot the 3 in practice...because he insists on continuing to shoot it in games.

He shoots it well, 86% in drills I hear, game is different though

That was a gorgeous windmill crossover by Kyrie. Dude has everything. Great handles, can get to the rim and finish with many moves, reliable jumpshot, clutch, court vision, leadership, etc. If his defense can improve, he can be the best PG in the game and one of the best players in the game. And he's only 21, right?

Wow on that play, the Rocket's passing and off ball movement made mockery of the Cavs D...

Lin is on fire this quarter. The Cavs' offense is getting stagnant. Get some movement out there.

Lin just karate kicked Tristan right in the nuts.
