How much better could Kobe had been...
Had he played within himself and within more of a team concept like Jordan?
He routinely made things harder for himself and his team by taking those insane fadeaways with 2 to 3 defenders on him

aside from 2004, I don't see how anything else could have changed.

His biggest mistake was shooting too many threes. He was never that good at 3s. He should of just focused on driving, posting up, and mid-range Js.

Agreed
He was great in 2003 from the long distance, but that was HGH year outlier
His game has always been bread and butter inside the 3pt line... Hell even last night he probably could have shot a lot better without the 21 three's

Be tough on yourself and everything becomes easy. Thats why kobe is a winner coz he never settled for easy layups

I think fatigue affected Kobe's 3 pt shootin more than the avg shooter. He's a good 3pt shooter if he's not exhausted. Maybe his natural 3pt shot demanded more elevation.

lol @ this clown. "never settled for easy layups". So he should've been chucking from 40 feet because that's being harder on himself?

But that's just a dumb as hell way to play the game
With more poise and team orientation, Kobe could have absolutely shot near to 50%
Maybe an extra assist in there too from making the right passes instead of Kobe'ing over 4 defenders

There can be only one GOAT.
Kobe's the 2nd GOAT.
I'm pretty sure he did it the right way LOL.

Is it in you?
Re: How much better could Kobe had been...
I think if he had players who deferred to him from the get go things may have been different. Starting his career with Shaq doesn't help the personal accolades as much. Had he started his career with a team like his second championship run or a prime Nash and Howard things could have went better. Who knows. It's over now and his career is cemented

If he had bigger hands he would have been better imo.

Bro once you understand ball, youll see that there are no easy layups once you face the best of the best. Great coaches will force you into tough shots. And thats what pop is doing to bran/kobe. Too bad, bran isnt used to these type of shots. All he knew is layups and dunks while kobe has been sacrificing stats in the regular season so he could prepare for them. So when they face the spurs, kobe takes the W while bran L.
