98 MJ won MVP while playing about as well as 2013 Kobe...let that sink in.

2013 Kobe was actually the more efficient player on offense and had a better overall impact on his team in terms of +/-.

But about that other guy... you see it's impossible to assert that Kobe could be the "greatest" with a straight face when you just take a glance at what Wilt did... Wilt is hands down the greatest, he has as many 60+ point performances as all other players in NBA history combined... and with higher totals
So Wilt averaged 50 points bunch of seasons and played 15 seasons in the NBA. Why isn't he higher up in the list?

Also add in League average in 07-08: 99.9 ppg; 84-85: 110.8 ppg

A prime SCORING Chamberlain... 32.8 ppg, (and that does not include his 45 ppg regular season, in which his teammates were so awful, they didn't make the playoffs.)

Also, a SCORING Wilt played in 52 post-season games, or ONE-THIRD of his 160 playoff games...THIRTY (30) of which were against a PRIME RUSSELL, and the greatest dynasty in NBA history. And a SCORING Wilt only played in ONE Final, and he averaged 29 ppg on 24 FGAs, on a .517 FG%, in a post-season NBA that shot an eFG% of .420...and it was ALSO against RUSSELL.

MJ's scoring and efficiency took a CONSIDERABLE decline when he faced the PRIME "Bad Boys" from '88 thru '90. Shaq's took a solid hit against the Robinson-led Spurs from '99 thru '02. And a PEAK KAJ's scoring and efficiency fell off the cliff against Thurmond and Chamberlain in his playoff H2H's against them from '71 thru '73.

Futhermore, if you include REGULAR seasons, which involve FOUR to TWENTY-FIVE times more games than the playoffs...and a SCORING Chamberlain's COMBINED scoring just blows MJ, and EVERYONE else AWAY.

Don't see how LeBron would call a guy who averages 2 ppg less than him and shoots 5% worse one of the greatest scorers, unless that implies LeBron is the clear cut GOAT scorer
You know that Kobe is one of LeBron's idol's growing up right?

I think three greatest scorers of all time are MJ, Wilt, and Kobe those are my top 3 in which ever order you rank them.

LeBron and Kobe have always been cool with each other. Funny when people pretend otherwise.
