Kobe played on an injured ankle, fked up fingers, you name it, sacraficing just to get to the 8th seed. Tonight's a big game for the Bulls and half of the team is ill or injured, and Rose, among the healthy one, is not going to play?

ya know, a good idea would be to have Kobe play for the Bulls. Just so he doesn't feel left out of the playoff picture. We know he can heal faster than the average man, even Rose.

I don't understand how Rose is allowed to sit out when he's been medically cleared to return for over a month?

How can he just say, "Nah guys, I ain't ready yet" and still continue earning his contract money? I wish I could go to my boss and tell him "nah man I'll be back next year" after getting injured at work when I've been cleared by my doctor as physically able to return to work.

Look what Shumpert went through. Whispers of trades, etc. when he wasn't playing well. But he battled through it all, and is now giving the Knicks valuable minutes.

iman shumpert didnt make his franchise relevant again, hes not goign to make his franchise relevant for the next 6 years. hes a nobody, if he gets injured nobodys going to give a ****. d rose is the bulls past present and future, he can take the safe route.

Because the team says it's okay. DUH.

If a team decides a player isn't fulfilling the end of a contract, they have the option to take the legal steps nbecessary to not pay them. Teams usually don't financially punish a player for getting injured - especially a superstar who they'd like to have for many years to come.

I think after you will have become a top 25 employee at your position... and I mean top 25 in the world, you can actually tell your boss just that. They won't be happy but they'll give you half a year off. If you are top 25. That's the tough part.
