Knicks are going to be big. Part of the reason I want shumpert to play the backup pg minutes.

That's the lineup I'd expect, once they switch out dalembert w smith. I'm sure smith is a lot easier to put w Amare than dalembert would be.

No matter what they put on the floor there will be issues. That line up is outside in without a post presence.

It would be interesting how they deploy Shump and Hardaway.

2 guys that can really help is Outlaw SF Acy PF.

That lineup is about Carmelo playing inside out. And the idea of the triangle is inside out. The best post presence on the team is Carmelo at the 3 w multiple players who have to be covered.

Outlaw is a 3 point shooter. Acy is........?

Best fit around Carmelo is Calderon/jr/smith/bargnani. Maybe the reason they wouldn't play both those bigs is to try to not have 2 at the same time of dalembert/amare/acy

Trying to understand what you'd consider an inside out lineup.

Calderon
Shumpert
Carmelo
Amare
Aldrich

Is that what you'd consider inside-out?

The original lineup has 1 post player thats why its outside in and ony 1 good shooter in Caldy. Like I said this roster is flawed no matter the lineup it will have issues.

IMHO at least 1 big should be able to finish from the post in the triangle if not the defense will sag off them and double Melo. Bargs hasnt proven he is an offensive threat, thats like 2 extra defenders that can focus on Melo.

Hi guys. I haven't been here all summer (I was pretty busy) but the new season (let's say) is starting tonight.

I didn't really follow much the news around the league but as much I know the Knicks roster at the moment I think Hardaway should be starting with J.R. coming off bench.
