Default MMA vets: Please educate my friend on Fedor's accomplishments

Every time we discuss HWs in MMA my friend always comes to the conclusion:

"Fedor has never fought anybody known in his career"

Since he feels I have no credibility in the subject, please tell this guy how uneducated he is and explain Fedor's accomplishments.

Thank you

Had Fedor been in the right circuit he'd have been beat multiple times.

His 'legacy' is fraudulent. Anyone who denies this is only fooling themselves.

Pat your friend on the back for he is wise.

For an undersized heavyweight he's beat pretty much every other HW in their prime. Nogueira (not the washed up one), Mark Coleman, Kevin Randleman (that suplex recovery was crazy), Cro-Cop (not the washed up one you see today, Cro-Cop in his prime was a monster) and the list goes on.

Some of his more recent bouts have been against some washed-up heavyweights but they are the best the division had to offer. He shuoldn't be penalized for beating up on bad fighters. Not that they're even bad, Brett Rogers is a monster.

Odd, you'd think going undefeated for 10 years would be good enough (the loss early in his career wasn't legit). He beat prime Nog twice (Nog had a 19-1-1 record for their 1st fight and a 24-2-1 record for their 2nd fight, not including their no contest), prime Cro Cop (16-2-2 at the time), and a number of former UFC champs. He beat a variety of skilled opponents. He beat high level strikers (Schilt, Cro Cop), high level wrestlers (Coleman x2, Randleman) high level BJJ guys (Nog x2, Arona, though I'm not so sure he beat Arona), and guys who had a good height/weight advantage over him (Sylvia, HMC) all the while being a small HW (around 230 pounds). Oh yeah, there's also that little thing where not only did he go undefeated for 10 years but he also never lost a round in that time span.

You'd find a better answer asking one of his nuthuggers on Sherdog, though.

He was in the only HW circuit that mattered in the early 00.
