Re: 2013 Champions League Final GT: Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich
It's funny how the Europeans on this site would bash a player during a game while the Americans would back them up till the end. It's 90 minutes and the game is not over till it's over.
Never give up. Robben came through.
I don't know if you guys or gals should be following American sports.

we "Europeans" were calling it like we saw it, which is what you should do as a neutral observer. Robben has been a horrendous finisher ever since the 2010 campaign. He did score and redeem himself, but he should have scored a long time before his winning goal.

I think only Ivanovic scored in stoppage time. Everything else, completely the same.

well tbh if it wasnt for robben they wouldnt have been in that 2010 WC or 2010 CL final anyway, so yeah, its not like he came in out of nowhere and ruined the teams chances, he lead them there.
its different when lebron/kobe chokes or when jason terry chokes.

yeah I meant since after 2010. He was obviously great during those runs. But it's not only choking in big games. He has been a poor finisher in front of goal for the past 2 years period. Even against poor teams in Bundesliga.

Non-English Europeans give up and quit easily. It's something I've noticed from hanging around with them for a long time.

A big LOL at Americans not hating on players during games. How can you say that on ISH of all places with a straight face? Like Kobe and Bron never existed

everyone who reads the gamethreads on the nba forum knows that americans change their opinion about one player million times during one game
especially if you read them the next day after the game finished you will be all like
