I used to think he was, but the reality is he had a bad offensive line up until recently at least. In football, you notice teams with bad OLines do not win super bowls. Go ahead and find a team that won with a bad line. In football you can't have 1 guy carrying your team and winning games single handedly, it ain't like the NBA. Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the game but he has 1 super bowl.

Thank you for marking this thread as off-topic. Would have never guessed otherwise on a basketball forum.

39 touchdowns and 4,500 yards last season.

Unbelievable.

At first it seems too soon but he has played extremely physical his whole career. It caught up to him.

2002 Bucs. 2013 Seahawks weren't that great either at O-Line from I remember.

This is probably his mental health surronded by all that injuries, marriage issues, and the pressue of competing with Brady/Mahomes/Rivers for the next few years leads to retirement.

He could really compete at the top of the level man, easily become a top 5 QB right now, Colts also have a bright future with a good draft last year by picking up Q Nelson and Lenoard...

But health is more important to him I guess...

He just got married recently IIRC. He has enough weapons on both on offense, defense and special teams to steamroll most of the nfl excluding maybe 3-4 of the top teams.

It's definitely seeming like a mental health issue. Don't be surprised if he takes a year or 2 off then returns. Retirement saves the team money, especially if he knows he wants to take a year off. We Colts fans are holding out hope for his return.
