Default I've had covid for 3 days now and it's kind of a joke

    1. slight headache
    2. feels like sleep apnea when not sleeping on stomach. you wake up like if you were snoring too much
    3. full appetite
    4. still watching porn and jacking off
    5. tightness in lungs but not even painful
    6. slight flu like dizziness but no runny nose or sneezing. no coughing

the real flu is 10 times worse

I think I got it from kfc. dirty b*tch had her fingers in my cup while handing it to me

Of all people including myself that I know that got it the symptoms are wide ranging and collectively on average - are worse than the flu and sometimes far far worse and of course sometimes milder.

Myself: Healthy M in mid 30's
    * Fever of about 101 that lasted for 4 straight days with no let up in that time at all
    * Body ache and fatigue that lasted for about 4 days
    * Loss of taste and smell that lasted for about 1 week
    * Mild cough that lasted about 1 week
    - this was not as bad as a flu for me because sore throats are agonizing to me and I didn't have a sore throat through this so I'd consider flus worse.

    Person A: Healthy F in mid 30's
    * Lost taste and smell (first indicator) that lasted for 2 weeks
    * Tightness / shortness of breath that lasted for 9 months
    * Mild cough that lasted about 2 weeks
    - this was not as bad as a flu for this person as far as peak sickness goes in fact they mostly felt normal except for the dry cough and shortness of breath - however the shortness of breath lasted 9 months since it was basically lung scarring - one of the many long hauler symptoms that can happen to some people that nobody experiences with a flu.

    Person B: Healthy M in their 50's
    * Loss of taste and smell that has never returned even an entire year later
    * Brain fog since catching covid that is still ongoing even a year later
    * Fever, and body aches that made this person feel like they were dying that lasted 2 straight weeks
    * Extreme perception of shortness of breath - luckily their wife was a nurse and monitored their blood oxygen levels that stayed within normal spectrum in spite of the discomfort so no hospitalization
    * Dry cough that lasted 2 straight weeks
    * Excessive fatigue that lasted over a month
    - this person was definitely worse off than the flu, they said they felt like they were going to die with the combination and severity of symptoms and they've got what seems like permanent damage as thus far their smell, taste, and ability to concentrate is still not back to normal.

    Person C: Healthy F in their 50's
    * Loss of taste and smell for 2 weeks
    * permanent loss of hearing in both ears of low frequencies
    * high fever and severe body ache that lasted for a week
    * dry cough that lasted 2 straight weeks
    * tightness of breathe that lasted 2 months
    - this person was also definitely worse off than the flu, permanent hearing damage that traditional (or any that I'm aware of) hearing aids can't fix

Person D: Healthy M in their mid 30's
    * Loss of taste and smell for 1 month
    * Roller coaster of high fever and body ache for 2 weeks
    * Sore throat and swollen lymph nodes / tonsils etc for 2 weeks
    * Dry cough for 4 months
    - worse than the flu which tends to have similar but shorter spanning symptoms and covid added the loss of taste and smell

    Person E: Healthy M about 40
    * Loss of taste and smell for 2 weeks
    * Roller coaster of high fever and body ache for 1 week
    * Severe dry cough for 2 weeks
    * Running endurance that took a sharp dive (used to run miles, couldn't even do a few blocks afterwards) that required several months of hard work to bounce back from

These are the people who are close enough where I've had in depth conversations about symptoms. And a few of these people work in hospitals one of them works directly with Covid long haulers and I've heard of far worse. There's a previously healthy (no underlying conditions not overweight etc) 26 year old girl that had permanent heart and lung damage that is waiting on organ transplants from Covid and isn't expected to make it if it doesn't happen soon. The flu is a disease that on average, doesn't affect humans as much. Covid can be as insignificant for some as being asymptomatic. But it can also punch a lot harder than the flu from what I've gathered. I was a lucky one who I felt better than the flu myself.

I remember back in January 2020 I got very sick with what felt like a very bad flu, it was the sickest I had honestly felt in a very long time. I never got tested, so I can't confirm 100% it was covid, but considering I was in the original epicenter in NYC and it happened right before the shut down, it's not too much of a stretch to assume that it was covid. But from what I've heard and seen people have had various reactions, if any at all, to catching covid

There’s so many horror stories of young healthy adults having messed up longs for life. Like people in there 20s having lungs of those 50+ That’s only one of many life altering side effects from Covid. So when people always talk about 99.97% Survival rate. They dismiss the millions of people that have to deal with this long lasting side effects.

I had it as well a couple months ago. I could literally lift a dirty sock from the bottom of my hamper to an inch of my nose and not smell it. Everything I ate tasted blank. Appetite was definitely impacted by not being able to taste anything. Made me eat less and weak. 2 weeks later it was gone. I've had flus that had me so congested I couldn't breathe through my nose and would wake up in cold sweats with a fever feeling like I was gonna die. COVID was a joke compared to my past seasonal flus.

the worst part is I think the chick got me sick on purpose. she was giving me a nasty look and almost trying to rub her fingers on my cup.. and its all cause I asked if she had enough paper in her machine for debit and if not I could pay cash. its like she thought I was calling her stupid but there was legit only like a small amount of paper left with the machine open and her holding it making sure it wouldn't fall apart or something..
