Not sure if you watch the show, but I think most people that do know the general feeling of the show that Skip is mostly responsibly for, and will agree that that was completely in bounds and appropriate.

It was pretty irrelevant to the discussion if you take a logical point of view. However, this is the way a lot of sports discussions are argued (especially with Skip). "I played point guard, you didn't, therefore I know more about it (and all things pertaining to it) than you."
