The only time I buy CD's is when my favorite band releases a new record. As for everything else, it's straight up digital for me.

CDs (and vinyl if you still buy them) the sound quality is so much better than MP3s, iTunes, ect.

Truth.

I've only purchased a few movie rentals from iTunes to watch on my laptop, and the quality for those is definitely worse than Blu-Ray discs.

Why do you make the exception for your favorite band?

I don't buy on itunes or digital, if I wanted digital I was download it illegally from the internet. However, I do like the AmazonRip (buy cds you get the digital free)

But for better support of your favorite bands and artists, go watch them live in concert.

Are you some airplane agent. If everyone had too watch music live airplanes would make money.

Neither. I paid for My Bloody Valentine's new album this year because they deserve it and I think they distributed it themselves so all the money goes to them. Before that, the last music I paid for was OK Computer on CD in 1997.

Like DMV2 said, for support. But I also like having the physical copy of the album.

CD's for me. Have over 1000 of them with many of them collecting dust. I've also uploaded mostly all of them to my PC and mp3 player. Oh yeahhh.
