Default 2013 Wade (15.9 #2 option for 2013 Championsip run) second lowest all time?

Is 2013 Wade's ouput one of the lowest #2 option ppg for a championship run, ever?

I took championship teams #1 options and looked at who the #2 option was to see who had the biggest carry jobs

So far the list I have for top 5 biggest ring carries, based on lowest #2 option ppg for playoff run is:

    1. Hakeem = Vernon Maxwell 1994 (13.8)
    2. LeBron = Dwyane Wade 2013 (15.9)
    3. Tony Parker = Tim Duncan 2014 (16.3)
    4. Larry Bird = Dennis Johnson 1984 (16.6)
    5. Michael Jordan = Scottie Pippen 1998 (16.8)

    1. Hakeem
    2. LeBron
    3. Parker
    4. Bird
    5. Jordan

    Interesting. Who are we forgetting?

Let's look at the biggest stage - the finals.

    Wade with 19.6 ppg on 47.6 fg%
    Pippen with 15.7 ppg on 41.0% fg%

    Interesting to see!

The problem with your OP is that you are using per game averages which are flawed. Basketball are a game of possessions. The 2 teams should be striving for higher # of possessions scored. And thus you should focus on Playoffs Per 100 Possessions which are more accurate to define who is the best scorer.

It quickly becomes apparent that Dwayne Wade actually scored higher at 24.5 per 100 possessions in the 2013 playoffs.

Scottie Pippen scored 24.1 per 100 possessions in the 2013 playoffs.

Also Wade FG% was higher (46) than Pippen FG% (41.5). We can conclude that Wade scored better on greater efficiency than Pippen ever did in their respective seasons (2012-13 & 1997-1998).

Wade attempted more (22 attempts per 100 possessions) than Pippens (20 attempts per 100 possessions.)

Wade was also the better passer slightly

    Wade AST% 24.2

    Pippen AST% 23.6

Michael Jordan carried Pippen more than LeBron did with Wade.

Seems a legit reason why they underwent a 2-3 deficit against the spurs and on the verge of being upset in that finals until ray allen saved the day to force an OT and winning it. Also noteworthy is the pacers taking them to 7 games in that year's ecf.

just shows how acute Lebron's critical thinking abilities are.

a leader is always exerting others energy when opportunities presents itself to maximize potential

and a leader is often times, out of energy, for trying to preserve those very opportunities.

objectives are about proof, and one doesn't need to prove themselves, when others are too busy trying to prove to others.

The Heat's first two playoff series were against the Bucks led by Monta Elis 14/3/6 46% TS and the Bulls with a pre-prime Jimmy Butler doing 15ppg. Not a single all-star or all-nba player until the conference finals ( a pre-prime Paul George). They didn't even need Wade to be 'good' until the finals.

    Now add GOAT perimeter defense.

For someone who said Wade wasn't a shell of himself in 2014, when he already was by 2013.
