Which NFL team is currenty stuck in the mud and won't be making the playoffs anytime soon? Which team is the worst, not only this season, but the next 10 years?
I'd say, it has to be between Oakland and Cleveland.
Oakland has no QB, no WR, no 1st round draft pick next year, NOTHING aside from a CB and a RB.
Cleveland may have less than that. They are just awful. They have no QB, no RB, no WR, NOTHING offensively, and their defense is awful as well.
What franchise do you think is in the deepest mud?
Oakland does have their pick next year and most predict Al to take Mays...
they traded thier pick the year after that for Seymore...
honestly, they shouldn't even want anymore high picks, they can't afford it...they need some vets in there...
side note, Sam Bradford is not the only college player that lost millions staying one more year...Taylor mays is no longer considered the best saftey, he should have entered the draft last year, and Colt McCoy, who would have been a 1st rounder for sure last year, is now predicted to go in the second round...even though he could win the title with Texas...he has still looked bad...
Has to be Cleveland. The only guys on their team that most teams say "man, I'd like to have him" are Joe Thomas, and as good as he is, a ST stud in Cribbs.
Rams at least have Jackson and could trade him for a boatload of picks.
After consideration I must say the Raiders. Mostly based off a shard market with the 49ers in the bay area. Yes, the Raiders have "die hard" fans but they're playing on a BASEBALL FIELD first and foremost.

Oh yeah, I got mixed up. But still, they traded a 1st round pick for a 30-something year old who won't help them in the long run.
My vote goes like this:
1. Cleveland
2. Oakland
3. St Louis
4. KC
A surprise team that no one has mentioned is the Seahawks. Hasselbeck is getting old and he's often injured. They have a good defense, but what are they going to do offensively the next few seasons? Seneca Wallace is a nice splash player, but he's proven he's not a full-time starter at QB.
