Every ~6-12 months for the past few years, congress brings the heads of all the social media companies to the capitol to harass them about "why social media companies arent doing more to combat misinformation and hate speech". Before these congressional hearings started, nobody ever got banned for questioning the official narrative, especially not well known politicians like mtg or scientists like dr malone.

So the govt tells twitter to silence people with the wrong opinions, twitter silences them, and then all the fascist bootlicking libs say "your right to speech wasnt violated because twitter silenced you and not the govt"
