Default Raptors Team USA vs Team Euroleague

Don't know how many of you go to the Raptors Open Practice they hold pretty much every year at the ACC. My first time (like 5 years ago), it was awesome, they had a light scrimmage game going on for the fans and it was pretty entertaining. The last few had been pretty crappy though.. only showed light warm-up drills and the event is getting shorter in length of time too. Hopefully with new management they will showcase the team more to get the fans hyped up about the season. Anyways I would love to see a Team USA vs Team Euroleague scrimmage just for fun!! That would be very entertaining and the teams would be pretty balanced. I'd probably take team Euro to win though. Please Sam Mitchell and B.C make it happen?

Raps Team USA
PG: Ford, Martin?
SG: Jones
SF: Peterson
PF: Humphries
C: Bosh

Raps Team Euroleague
PG: Calderon
SG: Parker
SF: Garbojosa
PF: Bargnani
C: Nesterovic, Slokar

Out of curiousity, why did you make this post? Chamberlain clearly established that Anthony Parker was American approximately two hours prior.

Maybe I am just out of line here, continue on. It just struck me as odd. I apologize in advance if this offended you.

And for what it is worth, the American team would easily win the game. They have Bosh, Ford and Peterson whom together make up our three best players. Fred Jones is solid in his own right and Kris Humphries could just stand around and play some defense. You also forgot Joey Graham on the American side.

funny little thread a few days old......

Egads in finally reading this I understand BC final scheme.

We only need a 2 - shooting guard from Europe and the Toronto Raptors will actually split into 2 teams: Scarborough and Mississauga.

The Americans will play outta West Hill and Jamal will finally round out the team next season......

The Euro types will play out of Square one and scrimage against the new soccer club in their spare time

David Stern will announce a new International division in Europe based out of Mississagua Ontario and millions of American fans wont realize the difference.

BC will eventually leave the West Hill Raptors to become the new chairperson of the international division.... groomed to replace Stern when his currently mumified body is shot out into space.....

Ssshhhhhh! Dont tell anyone

For those jumping on the guy saying that Parker is from the states..

The guy clearly states in his post... Team Euroleague, not Team Europeans

I would take that as players that are from, Euroleague, which Parker is.

First Rounder drafted by the Nets in 1997 who played 55 games sparingly over the course of three years in the NBA. Where does his allegiances lie, with the NBA or with Europe? Of course, I am just kidding, good point on Euro League comment, I didn't even really notice the title.

Easily, team USA, I mean Ford would destroy Calderon and the rest of the rosters are pretty much even IMO, except for maybe Bargnani vs Humpries.

Interesting post, I like it.

Battering?

All he did was tell the truth. Ford would take Calderon to school and back home again.
