Bill Ingram of Hoopsworld follows the Bobcats as his 2nd team and was down in Orlando at our last game vs them in the regular season. I emailed him about Felton after that Sam Smith article came out about us planning on letting him walk and he replied with this:

Rick (Bonnell) and I talked about this at length in Orlando and there's absolutely no truth to Smith's piece. He's become the Glenn Beck of sports writing - just making stuff up as he goes along.

The Bobcats believe they can keep Ray for a reasonable price, especially give that he loves Charlotte and has absolutely no desire to leave. If he gets some ridiculous offer from someone else they may let him walk - I love Ray, but he's not a star by any means - and chase someone as a replacement. But who really offers Ray star money in this economy?

I expect Ray and Tyrus to be in Charlotte for a long, long time.
