I guess there's a reason Kobe was the leading playmaker for 5 championship teams and is the 2nd best non-PG playmaker in history. Elevating everyone around him to greatness while playing within the flow of one of the most stat-restricting systems in basketball.

As opposed to forcing yourself to be the entire offense by holding the offense hostage in order to fraudulently force stats at the detriment of the strengths of your teammates and the detriment of the overall ball movement and flow of the team.
If so...... then why do Kobe stans like yourself and others always cry about his help / teammates when he was missing the playoffs and getting ousted in the first round in B2B seasons?

But going by your logic, who’s the GOAT non-PG playmaker in history?

But using longevity stats as a GOAT arguement for a guy 16 years in isn't?

Right back atcha for the supposed "no halp" our hero has had his entire career despite our kind claiming he's the best at elevating players in history

People say LeBron makes players better.... which has been proven

You're implying Kobe makes the same type of players "great"

If that's the case, why the constant whining and crying about Kobe's help over those 3yrs??

Of course Bran is a slightly better playmaker than Kobe. Who doesn't know this?

Guys, once again, I never thought Wade was better than Kobe. I've been watching ball since the 90s.

But what I was fishing for was some responses about the TALK of Wade being better than Kobe. Hell I remember when people argued TMAC>Kobe which was never true in my opinion.

Except they are #1 and #2 for most assists in history by non-PGs.

I'll listen to the facts rather than bias agenda driven hate

So you're really going to argue Kobe was a better playmaker than Bird, Jordan, Drexler, Pippen etc. Was Malone a better scorer than Jordan & Kobe?

To be honest, the MAIN REASONS I would pick Kobe over Wade peak-prime wise is due to a better scoring skillset and a bit more positional versatility. So at NO POINT while both were in their primes was Wade better. Even after 2006.

But Wade at his best was FOR SURE the 3rd best all time SG peak-prime wise. Was like a combo of David Thompson (freak athletic alpha dog 6'4 SG) and Moncrief (great 6'4 two way SG who can also run the PG). It's just that Kobe had that package in a 6'6 body. PLUS has arguably the best scoring skillset of all time.

SO when it comes to Kobe vs. Wade peak wise, it's little details like that which make the difference. One could argue the gap between MJ and Kobe peak-prime wise is BIGGER than the gap between Kobe and Wade peak-prime wise. In terms of defense, passing, scoring numbers, and rebounding, Wade was just as good as Kobe or BETTER in certain areas! Plus was more efficient! Should be close to 30,000 points IF he stayed healthy.
