Default Jordan hinders his rivals legacies by playing against them, Lebron does it by...

playing with them... which one do you respect more? Jordan shows hes better than malone and barkely by beating them, however lebron shows hes better than wade by being the better player on the same team

One thing I'll say about LeBron, he's a generous guy. He got Jason Terry, JJ Barea, Tyson Chandler and Roy Hibbert huge pay days.

Kawhi Leonard gon' get his too

before they teamed up together, there was still a debate on whether wade or lebron was a better player, and after theyre first season it was still unsure whose team it was. You're a lebron fan so i kno u dont like competition but if you're two of the top three players in the nba from the same draft class, youre competing against each other

LeBron has never really had a rival besides Pierce. Wade and Bosh were first round exits. They never played LeBron in the playoffs.

great point. Wade and Bosh were both getting bounced out the first round while LeBron was competing for titles in Cleveland.

before they teamed up together, there was still a debate on whether wade or lebron was a better player, and after theyre first season it was still unsure whose team it was.
Not really. The majority view was that it was LeBron, some people thought Kobe was better. Very few people thought Wade was the best player. He was consensus top 3--but that usually meant 3rd. At best some people had him ahead of Kobe for 2nd.

Jordan played on a team that won 55 games without him; Barkley and Malone's teams won 56 and 53 respectively that same year (57 for Ewing, 55 for Robinson, 58 for Hakeem, 48 for Drexler). He had no reason to leave when his team without him was competitive with the teams of other superstars; with him they became dominant (55 wins to 72 with the same core).

Been saying stuff like this since I joined this forum. This is the only thing I like about Lebron. Not only he help his team mates, he also help the other team as well.

Lebron is the GOAT charity player. He loves giving his opponents championships.

as a Miami fan stop making shit up. That debate was between Kobe and Lebron and even Nash. Wade was never in the discussion. Universal top 5 player? Yes. But the top? No.

In fact, it was not until Lebron joined our team that I heard people really start putting Wade in the 3rd spot.

Hm, i dont recall Lebron playing with Spurs or Mavs?
He is playing with Wade/Bosh, who were not his rivals.... and before teaming up with them anytime they would face eachother he would obliterate them....

Lebron teaming up with Wade/Bosh is equivalent of Jordan teaming up with an old & injury proned Drexler and Brad Daugherty.....

...and im pretty sure Lebron has hindered alot of players....

Legacies and all-time lists are build around what a player does against his generation.

Why is Hakeem considered a Top 10 or borderline Top 10, whereas D-Rob, Ewing, Mourning aren't? The Dream dominated those big's(plus a very young and raw Shaq) in the 90's.

A few years later Shaq puts himself into the conversion with Kareem, Wilt and Russell by completely destroying every big of his generation.

Say what you want about how stacked Bird's Celtics or Magic's Lakers were, but they were also each other's rivals. Their legacies are based on their rivalry rather than their stacked teams.

LeBron destroying Wade, Durant, Rose, Duncan and Kobe (even if the last 2 are on a decline) would definitely been a huge legacy.

Where Wade and Bosh ever rivals to LeBron to begin with? Wade maybe was in 2009, but that's about it.

Good points. LeBron's rivals were/are the Celtics, Pistons, and Spurs. The Heat and Raptors were not threats to him as they were first round fodder in his prime.

LeBron destroying Wade, Durant, Rose, Duncan and Kobe (even if the last 2 are on a decline) would definitely been a huge legacy.
Only one of those players is at his position--and LeBron backdoor swept the second best player in the league. Regarding the others, he won a ring against Duncan and has beaten Rose's team twice in the playoffs.

Where Wade and Bosh ever rivals to LeBron to begin with? Wade maybe was in 2009, but that's about it.
Yeah--and that was only individually with Wade having a weak case as the best player in the league (i.e. Chris Paul today). As far as teams, Cleveland won 66 games that year. Miami was barely above 0.500. If they met in the playoffs the Heat would have posed no challenge.

Bosh? He at his best was barely a top 10 player in the league. Saying he was a rival to LeBron is like saying Chris Mullin was a rival of MJ.
