That's really unknowable. Nash could have done what Kidd did offensively for them and more. Of course his D was not as good as Kidd's so how does that change things? Team Nash and Nowitzki late in their primes with a bunch of good and great defenders with reasonable shooting ability and one or two slashers and I don't see why such a team couldn't win big.

Dirk himself didn't know whether or not they could have won in 05,06, or 07. I certainly think they had a great shot, hell they could have repeated if they stayed together.
