Re: 2013-2014 Observation Deck
^^ from what i've read wiggins scored 12 of his 17 pt in the 2nd half embid had 10 pts.. it was a collective effort but wiggins lead all scorers for this kansas team.. thats how scary good this team is because they dont need someone to score more than 20 pts to win a game...

AJ Hammons is gonna bust. Seen enough. Much as a late 1st type can be a bust anyway. He's David Harrison 2.0.

how did wiggins and embiid do?
Wiggins was sick and was sorta coasting, but he played well in the 2nd half and helped them pull away. like Dolphin said he was playing really weak around the rim. Embiid looked great, falls for the pump fake too much, but when his timing improves he will start over Black.

Jordan Adams is the last great Howland signing for UCLA. 21/4/4 with 6 steals and 1 block on 5-10 from the field last night. Disgusting.
If the Bruins can figure out the big situation, they'd be that much scarier. I'm loving Powell, Adams, Anderson & LaVine on the wings .
Reggie Theus off to a 3-4 start at CSUN is meh. Young squad though and once we get the St. John's transfer cleared, our bigs will be that much better. Big West belongs to UC Irvine anywho on the year. Next year though, with Reggie recruits, another year under Hicks, Maxwell and THE, should take the conference.

LSU should have never lost to Memphis.. 23 turnovers and most of them were unforced..
Memphis is so overrated its not even funny. This loss will hurt in March.

Good first half.
Parker has such a polish to his game. The guy has the best pull up jumper I have seen from a college freshman in a real long time.
Also you can already see the new rules in full effect and what you had was a very clean and well played half of basketball. You defend with you feet, not your hands and college teams are finally adjusting to that. Can't wait to see the college product in 2-3 years.

Parker is having a terribly cold shooting night, but his moves are so advanced at his age. Wiggins has not shown 1/2 the offensive game that Parker has shown tonight alone.

Re: 2013-2014 Observation Deck
I really like Arizona. They're so well balanced with one of the deepest teams in the nation. They have 4 future legitimate NBA players rotating in their frontline right now, two explosive scoring wings, and great floor general. Their defensive level is incredible considering it's November. Wonder if they can keep it up all season.
This team is going to be a tough out in March.
If Roy were to retire today, I would go:
1) Sean Miller
2a) Thad Matta
2b) Shaka Smart
3) Buzz Williams
4) Bill Self
Would rejoice with either of Miller or Matta. Really love the idea of Shaka, but he still hasn't ever won his conference and I don't know how "havoc" would translate to a major program. Can you get future NBA blue chippers to buy into that type of defensive system?

What's with the lighting on the stands? There's a hue of blue over the crowd and the lights are dimmed. Looks like a concert.
Makes for a cool looking game on tv, though.

Wiggins really goes through insanely long stretches where it's basically like he isn't on the floor.
