Gallinari banged up to start the season
Well, it appears that Gallo might be able to play in Friday’s winnable game (which would be a much-needed win, considering Denver plays the second game of a back-to-back on Saturday at Miami). After today’s practice, Danilo Gallinari told me his left ankle is improving, and while he wouldn’t be playing at 100 percent, he’ll at least give Friday shootaround a go and see if his ankle is ready for game action.
Gallo has improved his jumper this summer (or at least A. he said so and B. he made a buncha 3s in preseason), so that would thus help Denver, which was 4-for-18 from 3 in the loss at Philadelphia.
