Sean Price - raw uncensored semi-psychotic, but he's got one of the nastiest cut throat flows i've ever heard. sometimes his beats bug me, but there are as many on point as off.
'weed and hoes'
'figure four'
'long fifth goodnight'
'fish'
the fugees - 'the score' is one of the best produced possy records you'll ever hear, and their debut didn't disappoint either. lauren and pras are golden, and wyclef is... wyclef. dope all around.
'zealots'
'how many mics'
'vocab'
'temple'
sage francis - he's more of a spoken word poet with the odd rhythm thrown in here or there, but he puts a lot of thought into his rhymes and produces some really ear-catching songs. sometimes cheesy but once you get by that, it's all good.
'best of times\
'crack pipes'
'narcissist'
'i was zero'
j-live - my favourite mc. he's the most listenable combination of smarts, wit, rhythm, rhymes, and relatability, at least as far as i'm concerned. he's as versatile in subject matter as you could possibly ask, and he consistently writes dope concept after dope concept into his music. he also produces and scratches, and has a cool habit of scratching samples of himself into the choruses of songs from the same album (ex. 'schools in')
'them thats not'
'schools in'
'longevity'
'wax paper'
'aww yeah'
