Default Re: Darrelle Revis vs. Nnamdi Asomugha

I'm not sure what they're doing this year, haven't seen them play, but last year Aso gave up less yards and was targets like half as much as Revis. Quarterbacks were either looking his way and he covered them up so the QB had to go away from him, or the QB just didn't look his way ever..... it's why he wasn't targeted a lot.

Only slight problem Aso had was giving up touchdowns, but it's not like he gave up a lot. Just four...but it pales in comparison to the one Revis gave up.

From studying Aso last year, he's dominant. He's easily one of the best corners in the league. Not being better than Revis doesn't make you exposed, it just makes you like everyone else.

right, he has been exposed as being like everyone else, before that he was just as good or on the same level, this thread IS REVIS VS. NNAMDI

before nnamdi went to Philly it was Revis and nnamdi 1a and 1b...even you were sold on it, read your post on the first page...

Darrelle Revis is arguably (I think he is but I'll leave it open for discussion) the best bump and run CB in the league. Still, people gotta stop pretending that Darrelle Revis doesn't play 70+% of downs with bracket coverage help.

Nnamdi did get exposed. I remember ppl talking the guy up like he was on Revis' level when he's clearly not. An elite corner but big gap btwn him and Revis
