Well, he must not be if you said so. I mean, Noah and Brewer must've been the only players on Florida to do that. I mean, you know, you can win two back to back championships with your only good defenders being an overachiever and an elite defensive swingman. Yeah, makes sense.

If nothing else, Horford will be a great rebounder and will be a banger inside. Sure as hell beats CV's soft inside play.

Brewer's an elite defensive swingman? Another suprise you'll be in for next year.

Horford is gonna get beat by quicker players, dunked on a lot by taller, more athletic players. Put him on a C and he's gonna get owned.

I'm not saying he can't develop into something nice, but I have a feeling you're gonna be a little worried after next season is over if you get Horford.

I can see him being a pretty good rebounder off the bat though.

While you say you only want him for D, you'll need some offense out of him. Shot isn't good enough right now to make up for the fact he won't be bullying anyone down low in the NBA. Again, rebounding may help him along on the offensive side as well.

Horford is the most overrated prospect not named Durant imo.

He's not gonna play C, though. I do agree that he'd get owned at that position, but that's what we have Bogut for.

I want the Rockets to maybe look at Rush. He can play the 2 and the 3 and get some more scoring options and defense when McGrady or Battier are on the bench.

And I do think Brewer will be a great defensive specimen. Guess that'll just have to be a wait and see.

As for Horford's offense...this is our projected starting lineup:

PG- Mo Williams
SG- Michael Redd
SF- Bobby Simmons
PF- CV
CT- Bogut

Take CV out and put Horford in his place, and I still don't think he would ever even have the opportunity to see the ball on offense. He'd be a garbage guy who can hit the occasional 12 footer.

I know Wright/Horford are unrealistic though.

Let the Kings get Conley and I'll be content. Then we can trade Bibby for Darko in a S&T, sign Blake to the MLE, and be set for rebuilding around Conley, Darko, and Martin. Throw in a little Artest for Odom and we might just be in the playoffs next year.

So you don't like Brewer, Horford, or Durant huh? Who do you like?

Brewer's game pretty much isn't missing anything. He can handle, drive, shoot, play D. Needs to work on the turnovers a bit, but that's no biggie really.

Horford won't play Center and I could see him being similar to Chris Webber. He's pretty quick for a big man, so I'm not sure why you think he'll be getting beat. He's a great passer with good hands, a nice midrange jumpshot that can easily be improved even more, and he's also aggressive going at the rim. Besides for that, he has the desire, work ethic, and character that won't allow him to be a complete bust at least.

And Durant...did you not see any Texas games this year? Not only does he have the skills, he's got the poise and desire to win. You could clearly see that he was the leader of that team by game 3, as a FRESHMAN! That doesn't really happen...ever.

Calling someone overrated is not the same as not liking a player.

Yeah but instead of Blake I'd love to sign Amir Johnson from Detroit.
