Why can't they just have auditions for female actresses and may the best one get the role? This shit is becoming a joke now. Many...if not most roles...they have a race in mind. Or at least a general idea. Why waste peoples time?

Im sure the casting call includes roles for whites only too. Im sure in "black" movies when they need an outsider it would call for a non black actor...might say straight up white.

What annoys me is the term "non-white" they are using...because a japanese woman and an african woman have so much in common as far as appearance, right? This is literally just excluding white actresses because they are white. It has nothing to do with how the character was written.
