A gay man still a man, he would be lying if he said he didn't get horny from seeing naked guys in the locker room.

The fact he doesn't act on his desires should be enough for his teammates to accept him as a professional.

    is this a real question?

you think its too hard to treat somebody equally if you avoid offending them with bigoted language?

Hmmm, seems like the first 5 posters must be 17?

Can't understand why it's in the news for 48 hours? Can't understand why it's a big deal? Can't understand why NFL teams would want to know or would find out? Can't understand why NFL locker rooms are rightfully coming under the same scrutiny every other workplace has? Can't understand why this is more important than a MLS, WNBA, or retiring NBA player?

I actually agree with this. probably one of the reasons why sam's college team accepted him so well. And probably why he will experience resistance in the NFL

Strong correlation between youth and acceptance of gays.

Why are people posting that he should have just kept it hidden and there's no reason to come out except for fame?

Do they not realise how living a false life can really get to a person? If you woke up tomorrow and suddenly you had to hide being straight from every person you knew and had to pretend to like dudes would you be happy with that life?

Also in this day and age haven't we gotten past the need to throw around insults that are insensitive? Like others said this is similar to having african americans in the locker rooms and the effect that would have had.

I'm also sure Michael Sam is going to have a thick understanding skin and won't be going off at people who do slip up and throw out an insensitive insult, it won't be as if he will run to the media every time someone says something he has likely learned how to live in a society that uses these words carelessly his whole life.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that question as well.
