How would Marcus Camby do in PHX??


i was talking to my friend and we decided he's one guy that can defend TD effectively..

Marcus Camby grabbed 10 boards for Denver. The big guys also made things difficult for Tim Duncan, who scored 14 points and had 10 rebounds for the Spurs.

so how would he fit in?

made this in the "trades involving Marion" thread... we have the cap relief but i'll keep it for more players... Marion's gotta go i feel... JR Smith would be a good scorer off the bench... and Evans would provide rebounding and hustle for us...

why are the suns in such a rush to change anything

jus keep improving with the team you have
yall have young quality players that get better every yr
jus keep the team together, every yr they've gotten better
yall don't need anything
didn't the Lakers win when they brought in Karl and Gary Payton
no they ruined the team chemistry that team shoulda won 70 games
yall are on the verge of the same sht your bout to fk up the team chemistry.

Duncan's good but the spurs are gettin older
and a good 3rd of that team is ready to call it quits!
I mean how old is Horry and Finley
any yr now Duncans gonna hit the wall and slow down
2nd Amare is only 24 and as he gets smarter he's gonna be the most dominant force in the NBA!
he's fking 24 and shot 60percent from the field last yr
also yall need to keep Marion yall don't appreciate him he was a allstar and an olympian before Nash got there and other than Gerald Wallace I can't think of any player that can play SG,SF,PF and C against certain teams!
outside of the Spurs your only competition is Dallas who has a choke artist for a leader!

the only player yall should consider is Garnett or even see if can snatch Elton Brand for Marion other than that don't bother
those suspensions killed the momemtum in that series
yall might have won if that didn't happen
why shake things up keep it the same and yall are a lock in the next 2yrs
keep Marion cuz once yall trade him your gonna regret it!

Yes Marcus Camby would be great in a Suns uniform. I can see him swating shots, running the fast break, and throwing down put back dunks for Phoenix. It seems like it would be very difficult to swing a trade with the Nuggets though. Shawn Marion and Camby both make about the same, as far as I know, but the Nuggets do not need another small forward. I cannot imagine trading Amare Stoudemire away.

Nuggets need salary cap relief is what they need. Give them the 8 million dollar trade exception the 2008 atlanta pick and marcus banks. they just traded away their pg anyway.

Marion is better than Camby.

You cant just trade players away for the sake of it...Unless you get KG, then you trade players.

I'm starting to think keeping Amare was better anyway.

Elton Brand for Marion...Now that one i'd do.

Boris would probably disco dance him out of the rotation though.

I love Camby in all but lets face it
offensively he is not Marion

Marion a far better shooter and athlete than Camby
Camby would be better on the boards and shot blocking but overall he's not a better fit
also Camby is 33yrs old and injury prone
I love Camby grew up on him and he use to destroy Duncan in college
which people forget
but Marion is a far better fit for your team your not gonna get equal value or a better fit if you trade him
and Kurt Thomas was over paid
resign Marion and go after a free agent big man like Joe Smith
