Default Report:Warriors Looking To Acquire Chris Bosh

Quote:
The Warriors put in their bid for Chris Bosh, according to a team source. Havenít confirmed if it was just talks, or an offer was made. But unlike Phoenix, who is trying to dump salary, Toronto is looking for some ballers in return, but only if they are convinced they will lose Bosh, who can opt out after next season.

The Raptors, according to an insider, arenít likely to move Bosh until this offseason. Though they are last in the Atlanta Division, the Raptors are one move away from competing for the eighth spot in the East. They are only 5 1/5 games behind N.J.

Theyíd prefer to find someone to put next to Bosh (Iíve heard they want Biedrins next to Bosh), but could end up moving him. Again, all this is just what Iím told.

Obviously, nabbing Bosh would require the Warriors to move a big name ó Biedrins or Ellis ó and some young talent to help Toronto rebuild. So this just shows that they are willing. The fact that they are throwing their name in the hat for these big players, even if futile, is a change in pace. These two were untouchable. Now, the Warriors are willing to play all their cards, even though they havenít seen everyone healthy for a significant length of time yet.

Andris Biedrins consistently playing 36+ minutes a game would only be good for him.

Are you serious? That would be terrible for the Warriors.

They give up all those three players AND a draft pick just for Bosh who might not even sign back with the Warriors. NO WAY.

Damn thats tempting. I would only go through with it if Bosh is destined to leave though.

Well I guess the deal wouldn't take place.

I have no clue what Bosh's actual value is because he is viewed much differently by Raptors fans and Canadians in general than he is by non-Raptors fans.

In order to keep Colangelo on the phone Randolph & Belinelli would have to be included in the deal.

Maggette has a fugly contract,Jackson wont be given a VISA in Canada due to his criminal history, and Jamal Crawford would be a logical trading piece.

If they offered that and we knew Bosh didn't want to stay, i'd take it.

I am a huge Bosh fan...but god damn would I take that. A borderline all star center (that is a perfect match for Bargs), solid SG, intriging prospect, and likely a very solid draft pick...and all locked in to multi year contracts. All for a player that they could very well lose in a year and half.

That is a trade that could secure the long term future of the franchise. When you consider the Raps likely high lottery pick, that could be a great young team.

No Beidrus for the raps...they can have both Randolph and B Wright. with Beli and a contract filler or crawford or magette....

Beidrus, bosh, jack, magette/crawford, ellis would be sick with a bench of turiaf, buike, marrow and CJ Watson

I will renew my season tickets if something like this happens...otherwise...HELL NO

Eh what the hell why the hell not, that "1st round pick" just gave me a niche of hope to say hell yeaaah to this deal.

This is more like a "rebuilding deal" to the Raptors.. going young.
