Default Phoenix To Pull The Trigger At Any Time On Amare Trade

Quote:
Last week, the Suns decided they need a change and began talking to teams about a potential Stoudemire trade. A number of teams are interested, and it looks like the price tag is a big expiring contract and several young assets (either players or draft picks). Stoudemire will become a free agent in 2010, which is holding teams back from offering the farm for him. But the signs all point to him being moved, sooner rather than later.

One thing my Suns source has made clear: They won't wait until the day of the deadline to make a deal. Once they get offered what they want, they'll pull the trigger.

I think this undisclosed team might just be the Knicks.

Sheed only a 5% chance of being traded? Don't think so

I think so.

Name a team that wants to give up young role players for Sheed.

Sheed is a good player but he doesn't always give his best in the Playoffs, and he may or may not retire at the end of the season.

I'm really hoping it's for Monta and Randolph. Monta can't be Monta in Golden State with players like Maggette and Crawford on the team.

Monta can't be Monta in Phoenix either simply because Monta isn't Monta anymore.

Monta can't play PG and until he develops an actual outside shot he will fail in any other offense not coached by Don Nelson or Mike D'Antoni.

The Pistons aren't going to make any moves, unless it's for someone they were going to target down the road anyway....ie, a top player. Getting that kind of a deal worked out, is slim to none....Phoenix, being really the only shot (and a small one there at best).

Dumars isn't going to give away the farm to make a trade, because he doesn't need to at this point.

If a wood chuck could chuck wood, a wood chuck would chuck wood until there is no wood left.

Exactly Monta can't play point guard. He's a two guard. He flourished at the shooting guard with Baron Davis feeding him the ball and could do the same in Phoenix with Nash. Monta isn't Monta anymore?

So Amare being a Western Conference All Star what happens if he's sent to an Eastern Conference team before Sunday?
