Default Jefferson To Milwaukee

It looks like the Bucks just got a bit tougher.

bad trade for New Jersey, Bucks get a proven scorer in Jefferson. Surely this should be a playoff team...

Last year I would have said this was a playoff team and they are definately better now. With Redd and Jefferson, that's a pretty tough combo and I would think Redd and Jefferson's games compliment each other more than Carter & Jefferson. Now I guess we'll have to wait and see if there are more Redd trade rumors.

actually it isn't really a bad move for New Jersey, I'm a Nets fan and we had to do something everyone knew that, and it helps a little to make a better chance of getting Lebron.

And I'm not sure about the bucks but with Jefferson on the team I'd have to root for them now because Jefferson wanted to be a Net so can't hate him like Kidd

you guys are lucky. I am a nets fan, and to see this trade happen

it gets me angry. I truly think the bucks will be a championship winning team.

not just because R.J but also the bucks draft pick

They certainly aren't in contention for a title yet. There are only a couple of guys in this draft who will come in and produce right away, let's face it most drafts are like that. They are a playoff team though. One thing you left out was the new coach too. Players might not like Skiles but he is a winner.

Hah. Not quite. The Bucks are a ways from contending for a championship. Trust me.

I'm really surprised with this trade. I never would've imagined they'd send Yi away so quickly into his NBA career. This better not be another, "eh let's get rid of this Dirk Nowinski guy. He won't be very good". Either way, we're getting an offensive powerhouse with Jefferson. Will they hang onto Redd now? Mo? Draft a PF instead of Alexander? This changes everything.

I wonder if this is official. And how it affects the Bucks draft tonight...

we'll probably pick Anthony Randolph, who can play PF...and is a good shot blocker...we need that

but i'm sad ...it would had been better if charlie V was traded, not Yi (((

Could Alexander play PF?

The Bucks need to...

Trade Charlie V. and Mo for a dominant PF. Draft Alexander. He can play off the bench behind Jefferson and learn from a vet.

You guys aren't reading my past thread posts about draft picks and trades with the Bucks.

If Miami doesn't do what Ithink will go down ... then Alexander will be fine.

Alexander is more of a 3 than a 4. It looks like they are definately trying to win now. For your sake, you better hope they don't pick Randolph now. He's more of a project type pick. He's a few years out before he can produce for a team.
