Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
This game is amazing on PC, even though my comp can only handle the game on medium-high settings. I wish I had a slightly better graphics card so I could run the super higher quality textures, the game must look insane on maxed settings.
Cant decide whether to play with my keyboard+mouse or an xbox gamepad. Combat is a lot better with the mouse, but I cant drive for shit with the keyboard and the xbox controller is excellent for driving.

My PC can run it max, but I was waiting for a review to make sure everything is stable and it's not a shit-show like GTA IV was.
Sounds like it's running well?

I report you
Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
The PC port is close to flawless. Great performance on medium-end builds. One of the greatest games ever, no doubt.

Just downloaded it last night. Running flawless on max settings with a year old rig.
Who else is playing online with PC?

You must have some kind of monster. My buddy has a $2000 monster rig and can't even run it at max settings at a solid framerate.

My PC is a year old. I'm betting your buddy has no idea what he's doing.

2K buys you top of the line GPU, PCU, RAM, MoBo, and SSD hard drive. Hell, you can buy two of each with that money. If you can't max then you don't know what you're doing.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V discussion
If you want to run this game at truly maxed out settings, including 4k resolution, you need something like dual 980s.
It could be done for $2k but the graphics cards alone would cost ~$1200.

He has dual 980s actually. Doesn't run it at max settings. Not smoothly anyway.
