Looking at the teams in eastern conference after the draft and the key free agent signings and trades, it is clear that a couple of teams will make a huge jump from the middle to the top of the rankings at the end of regular season in 06-07.
Teams like chicago and orlando will be definitely in the playoffs next year, while teams like toronto, milawaukee and boston would be competing for a playoff spot.
This is what I think the eastern conference would look like after the end of the regular season.
4) New Jersey
It is very possible that Miami and New Jersey might do worse this season depending on the health of Shaq and Carter. Also, we still have to see how Detroit would play without Big Ben.
As a Toronto Fan, I hope toronto battles hard for the 8th spot and clinche the playoffs.
Just want to see what others think of it.
