is it just me or does that lineup look solid. if healthy that roster looks so solid but early in the season the results just did not make sense. lack of chemistry... i hope this team can gel together...

Yea with Artest, they had to make changes in the offense. With a new player, things sometimes start off a little slow. The Rockets have a pretty good bench to me. Brooks can be a starter, Wafer could be, but not over T-Mac (at least not right now), Artest and Battier can go either way, and Landry could be a starter. Once they all get back together, this would be a great team. Everyone of these starters are unselfish and fit in well with Adelman's offense.

It would be cool to mess with the lineups and possibly move T-Mac to PG to start with (He's a pretty good playmaker) and start Wafer at the 2.

If we could play around with something like that, I'm sure we could get someone more consistent than Rafer starting at PG.

actually i had something similar playing in my head in the BEGINNING of the season. i was thinking t-mac at point with battier and artest starting. it all depends on how rafer plays but i really do believe that t-mac can start at point and wafer at 2, that would be pretty interesting. wafer would probably have to guard the opposing point guard however...

tmac
shane
ron
scola
yao

that lineup is unstopable. shane will lock down their 2 guard, ron will either lock down their 3 or make him use a lotta enery by guarding ron. if tmac can get back to his oldself, with the help of the team, he can handle guarding pgs. wont shut any down, but he will make them work, as long as ron and shane have their back. w/ those 3 they can play switch defense on the 1-3 spots and that really sucks for the other team.

tmac used to be a nasty defender btw... 2bpg in toronto in his 3rd year. all he needs is his legs back.

as much as id like to believe that, it is not even about the injuries. at 6'8, t-mac would get smoked by point guards that will be in the playoffs, were talking about parker, paul, deron... Even though i love the defensive possibilities of starting battier and ron, all 3 of them starting would be difficult.

although, bench is looking good, were looking at

G: Rafer
G: Brooks
F: Wafer/Barry
F: Landry/Hayes
C: Mutombo

with Scola playing alot of C with the 2nd team, there has been times when landry was playing some SF.. our team is pretty versatile and we could switch it up with the small ball offense... its just a matter of putting who, when...
