Default Spinmove

how do you properly utilize it?

a pet move i've developed (but still do not quite understand how to use properly) is go baseline from either direction, spin away from it while going toward the hoop and finishing with a fadeaway banker (10 feet, no more than that) or a lay up from the front of the basket.

yet I always feel I misuse this move.

should I be moving my shoulders toward the basket more?

should I stop on the pivot and shake around before shooting?

I do the same thing, but I prefer to go more at an angle then along the baseline, and prefer the short fadeaway over the layup.

You could be called for a travel with the spinmove...
Dwayne WADES spinmove is illegal because he picks up his pivot foot.. Phil Jackson says it and so many more do. If you power dribble than spin it isint.. I got confused in a game i did it and they called me for a travel.

I usually do it after i crossover to the left but my defender is sticking with me and i cant get past him to the bucket. When i spin i swing my right leg around him so he cant recover and get around me and then i have a lane to the basket.

do you guys do the one hand spin, or the two hand "cup it to the other hand" spin move? the second one is the safer one coaches tell you to do. the first one is the street move.
