Default Re: Who's team's fans Wants Brian Cook?

Brian Cook will be making 3.5 mil next season, Does that apply to this summer, if he gets traded? Or do we have to wait till start of the season?

Cook does have trade value, to a team that wants a big man the can hit threes, just not to us because we hate his lack of D.

With the departure of Parker. All we have to do is ship out Cook and Sasha and we're left with an overall good team. just have to fill in the Blanks and we can end up with a very deep bench.

Those three were our only real three week links on the team.

Thanks, I wasn't too sure. Cook's 3.5 mil will be a good add in in any trade. I be so when he gets shipped out. And if he doesn't.

Probably none of them, except the guy in that quote. Brian Cook is trash. Unless Kupchak is some godly GM, there is no way in hell that they get Battier for Cook and a pick. Battier infinitly owns Cook at every aspect of the game. And why would the Rockets trade away their hustle player/glue guy? That trade won't happen.

True that lakerfreak. let's remember pistons are 0 and 1 in keeping palyers. Ben Wallace left and Rip contract I believe is coming up the following year.
Billups will be looking for that last pay day.

Thing is,

Gm's have become so predictable. Whenever you hear a GM say "I'm going to offer the max contract for sure!!!!"

or "we really really want to keep him, he has been great"

then we should know that there are issues that are repelling Chauncey from resigning with detroit.

BTW, I am almost sure that Walton will be gone too. He said in a perfect world he'd be back. However it's not a perfect world.
