Trade Jackson and Harrington
This team seems to be heading into a different direction and it maybe time for the Warriors to search for suitors for Jax and Al who both hold value. If they can get one player that can really help this team, that would be the ideal scenario.
1. Send Jackson and Harrington to the Heat for Shawn Marion and Daquan Cook. Marion has an expiring, $17M contract but could be a big plus for this team this season. Miami would have a Chalmers, Wade, Jackson, Beasley, and Blount line up with Haslem, Harrinton and Jones off the bench. The Warriors could have a starting line up of Ellis, Maggette, Marion, Wright, and Biedrins.
2. How about Jackson and Harrington to the Kings for Artest and Kenny Thomas? The Kings would have Udrih, Martin, Jackson, Harrington and Miller as their starters. The Warriors would have Ellis, Maggette, Artest, Wright, and Biedrins.
3. Or...Send Jackson, Harrington and a future protected 1st rounder to Toronto for Andrea Bargnani, Joey Graham, Anthony Parker, and Jason Kapono. All the players have small and short term contracts, but could add depth to this team from the void left by Barnes and Azubuike. Toronto would have a great team in the East and Jackson is great friends with O'Neal. Calderon, Jackson, Harrington, Bosh, and O'Neal? The Warriors pick up a former #1 pick in Bargnani who would thrive under Nellie (like Nowitzki). He could play center and provide matchup problems for opposing teams. This would be my favorite trade here.
The Warriors line up:
PG Ellis - Watson
SG Belinelli - Parker
SF Maggette - Randolph - Kapono
PF Wright - Hendrix
C Biedrins - Bargnani
Permanent Bench: Graham, Perovic
