in the new testament, it s written: "perfect love cast out fear"
actually here is the context
There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love. We love because (God) first loved us.(n.b. love as self sacrifice, not as a feeling)
