I am really interested in seeing Woods play in sacramento, because he has a bad rep about not working hard and not reaching his potential. Hopefully, around ron artest and bibby--two of the hardest working guys in the league--he will change the direction of his career.
Guard:
Bibby and Kevin Martin are a better than average starting frontcourt. They both can hit the three. Bibby can get to the rim and finish strong for a PG. Martin is deceptively quick and gets out in transition. Bibby has lost (15 lb?) weight and is said to be in the best shape of his life. Hopefully, that will help him on D. This frontcourt is average at best at Defense.
Douby is said to be a sharpshooter, who can contribute about what luther head did last year. Garcia should be a good backup sg/sf/pg, who is very versatile and it will be interesting to see what he worked on over the offseason. Hart was a bust last year, he has a chance to redeem himself with a new coach.
Forward:
Ron Artest is the most dependable and least confusing forward on this team. His post up skills clearly complement SAR (shareef abur rahim) and K9 (Thomas) outside shooting skills. Shareef is good for about 15/8 a night but he has to battle for playing time with K9. Neither player is comfortable coming off the bench; however, both are paid starter money. The Kings need to draft a big this year and they didn't, hopefully Petrie knows what he is doing. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these Forwards get traded this year, speciialy K9.
Center:
Brad Miller is a huge qustion mark, because you don't know what you are going to get. There is one Miller who is an Indian hicki, who dives everyplay and would fight shaq. This miller was around early in his kings career, when he dropped triple doubles with ease. There is another Brad Miller, who never has blocked a shot in his life, hangs out around threepoint range, and doesn't care to rebound much. We need the first BMill back to be succesful. SAR can play backup center--he did in the playoffs--and woods could be a decent backup, or he could be another crappy big man.
Coaching:
I don't know what to expect. Never really paid attention to mussleman when he coached the warriors, so could anyone enlighten me? Im curious to see what the new offense will be.
Someone make a chart like this for the Lakers, please. It would be nice to compare and contrast. Also any comments on my opinions ^^^^?
If Ron plays atleast 77 games, he'll be in MVP talks.
Is 77 a magic number, lol? Actually, I agree if he played the entired season with the Kings last year he should have been a serious MVP candidate. It will also depend on how the team as a whole does.
Dam these Queen fans They keep hanging around acting so like there bad ass on their mom computer talking all kind of **** they know nothing about. Good new for Sac thier WNBA team is better than their NBA team, I wonder who would win?
:stupid:
Since the Monarchs lost to the Shock. Does that make the shock better than the KINGS?!?! lol
