The Wizards evened their record at 1-1 after defeating the Magic in the second night of a back-to-back in Orlando on Thursday night.

Washington picked up the 105-98 victory behind solid play from all five starters. Nene returned to the lineup after serving a suspension in game one of the season and finished with 12 points, four rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes. John Wall led the way for Washington with a game-high 30 points, 12 assists, five rebounds and two steals. Wall has now tallied consecutive double-doubles (he had eight games last season where tallied back-to-back double-doubles).
