Curious to see how this guy develops. I know he's not getting much playing time, and the time he's gotten has been pretty poor, but does anyone see any good things too? Anybody excited about the guy, if so why?
Yeah, and you knew he was a big project and very raw when you drafted him, but his upside is pretty huge. He hasn't even played that much basketball so he has to learn a lot, but he should progress pretty quickly (from where he started when drafted anyway).
The main reason you guys drafted him is because Karl Malone was really impressed with the guy when he worked out for the Jazz and Gordon Chiesa (your assistant coach) respected Karl's comments. Sene is very long and athletic, guy can fall down and spring right back up... how many 7 footers can do that? Looks like he will be a blocking, rebounding, low post machine if he ever pans out.

Ok this guy has upside...He has long arms so he should be a great shotblocker, but he is very skinny so If he hits the weights, he should be a solid backup center, but I doubt he will get any run with the Sonics because they already have Wilcox, Collison, Swift and Petro...So he might spend most of his sophomore season in the D League, or they may just waive him...
They picked him way too high, and knew that he would be a big project, so no way do I see them waiving him next season. They knew that he would a be a long term, wait and see, kind of guy, when they drafted him.

he needs more playing time to develop; petro and swift will get the lions share this year-- unless sene has made some serious strides since last we saw him
