Default Who's team's fans Wants Brian Cook?

Quote:
tennisbum888__Guest_: Do you think we can snatch Brian Cook out of LA? I think he would be a nice fit for this offense.

Fran_Blinebury: Could they get him? After the Lakers season, not much outside of Kobe is untouchable.

brian cook is a pretty good scorer i mean he scored like 30 pts against dallas at one time hes just bad at doing other things such as rebounding and defense

The messed up part is that with this years team he probably became our 3rd scoring option as teams actually know he can hit the 3 and stuck like glue to him at times.
If we can get something for him.. I would think the mngt would go for it.

If we can get a solid Guard for Cook, it's a must. Sh*t throw in Sasha just for the hell of it.

To get a solid guard you need a solid player to trade for. You can trade a player like Cook who hasnt produced for another player out there who hasnt produced. That is not what the Lakers need. They need experience to get past the 1st round. The best way to get rid of Cook is through him in a multiplayer trade and make some team pay him because they got another player with him.

Very true, I just think we can get a steal for a guard with a team that has extras. Or just Cook and or pick alone would be worth a guard that's getting paid any where from 7 to 8 mil. Just for ex-sample Walton Cook and 19th pick could get us Bibby or Billups. Throw in Farmar and the deal might get done.
Bottom line I just hope Cook is gone.

Maybe Bibby, not a snowball's chance in hell Billups. I would bet money Billups is in Detroit to stay for a while.

I still maybe dreaming, but I'm still wishing for a Artest and Bibby trade.

No Ben Wallace never recieved MVP votes. Billups has now for what 4 straight years? Ben wasn't a scorer he was there for the inside presence, but Detroit had other people who could do that. McDyess and Rasheed were staying so they still had inside presence. Billups hols the pistons together. Dumars knows this and will not let him slide.
