Unhappy Channing Frye = Tim Thomas

Are these the same people?

All the talent in the world and yet they can't put it together.

Size, speed, athletic ability, good shot, good everything. They can look as though they should be dominate players and disappear like they're not even on the floor.

I had such high hopes for Frye and now Portland wants to dump him.

He's such a good kid. I think he has to do some soul searching and realize the NBA isn't college and you have to play with a mean streak.

Tim Duncan is the nicest person around but on the floor he's mean and I've seen it many times. For that moment he has the so-called eye of the tiger.

He will put it to you, in your face but in a very quiet unassuming way, that's his style. Before you even realize it he has dominated the game and the Spurs beat your pants off.

Frye has the ability but not the heart of a warrior, in pro sports it's not only about ability, you NEED the heart of a warrior. Ewing had it......that's what made him who he was.

I think that decent or good players come to NY to die. It happened to the XMan, Timmie Thomas and Larry Johnson. Tim Thomas can't be compared to Fry in my opinion due to the fact that Thomas had some solid years up in Milwaukee. Frye can never claim that he was even close to a solid year while a Knick. Some people just don't have it to be in the league. Frye is one of them.

Not even close.

Tim Thomas has the tools to be an All Star but lacks the passion to achieve it.

Channing Frye has the skills to be a "complimentary starter" at best. He's basically Joe Smith minus young Joe Smith's athleticism.

Frye doesn't have what it takes to be a star in the NBA. Too soft, rather shoot than score inside. What a wuss.

Tim Thomas is just a bum.
