Being a fat person, (not a comedically fat baller, just a chubby dude with no hops, deceptive agility) I'm constantly trying to get an intellectual edge on the court. I find that trash talking usually deters that.

I often get trash talked to, usually people eventually shut up when I don't bite/I dominate them. Sometimes they don't shut up, sometimes I get dominated and trash talked to, usually brothers. Whitey who can ball is usually more sympathetic to one's plight.

Haha, I say "Cookies!" to my little brothers all the time but I'm not baller enough to pull it off with a straight face in real games. I remember it used to be one of like, four things players would say in Streetball mode in NBA 2K6 or something.

I dont talk much on offense.. most of the talking comes on the defensive end when I'm pressing someone hard off the ball or as they bring it up the court and when I'm boxing out. I swear there is nothing funner in basketball than guarding the best player on the other team and just expending all of your energy not letting him get the ball/talking to him at the same time.

Next time your playing if a guy says you're fat, tell him you're only that way because every time you did his girlfriend she gives you a cookie, has worked for me many times.

If I'm going hard in the paint or dunking, then it's "you better move lil man"...this is the best when the defender is bigger than me lol

If I'm playing hard-nosed defense, then it's "you don't wanna do that. That's not your game. Just take the jumper and make it easy on yourself. Come inside and I'll swat that shit"
