He wont be putting up Lin type numbers. Nick Johnson is the best hope for a scorer off the bench. If he can come in and average 9 a game as a sixth man playing the PG & SG spots, I think we will be just fine.

Parsons has been replaced by a better fit. Asik barely played half the games.

The biggest loss for the Rockets IMO was Lin, not because Lin is awesome, but because Lin was a bench scorer who was not replaced.

Rockets bench is weak. Theres not a 'go to' scorer, no volume scorer coming off the bench.

Can't create his own shot. Not a great 3pt shooter. Horrible defense. High basketball IQ.

Ariza is a much better fit, in almost every way imaginable. Not saying Ariza is better, but he is 100% a better fit. Houston needed a perimeter defender, and Parsons isthe exact opposite of that.
