Um, which two years are you talking about? Wade has barely been written about outside of south Florida (positively) since 2006. Bosh got more press about his "adjustment" in 2011 than Wade did for almost playing as well as James during the season and better in the postseason.

jrong stays winning with these posts. I'd say when playing to his capabilities he's 95% of the player LeBron is ... so no, that isn't "a bit high obviously" ... god NumberSix stays w/ LeBron's meat stick in his mouth.

when coasting, or injured, which he was for much of 2012 and a few months this season. Wade is about 80% of the player LeBron is ...

He hasn't got much positive attention post 2006, especially from the national media. Maybe's it's backlash for the ridiculous officiated NBA Finals, thus inflating his performance in that series.

The Heat are breaking the NBA's hearts, one team at a time.

I really don't know where the heck some of you people were after the decision. You had Skip Bayless and other idiots ALL OVER ESPN calling Wade the best player in the NBA and that LeBron went to Miami to get carried to a ring.

You don't remember 2 years straight of "Wade's team", "Wade is the closer", "Wade has to take the last shot", "Wade is Batman" etc... Really?

I don't know where this Idea of Wade playing better in the post season comes from either. They were both good in the Philly series. Both good in the Boston series. Wade disappeared in the Chicago series and LeBron disappeared in the Dallas series. They were about the same.

Regular season wasn't close at all though. Sorry pal. LeBron was at worst the #2 most deserving of league MVP. Rose winning it was a complete joke and the only other player with a case was Dwight Howard.

Key words. Thus the rest of what you say makes absolutely no sense, given that attention seeking talking head's agenda.

Their numbers were almost identical. Wade and LeBron that is ... they had a rotating alpha thing going. Taking turns as they call it.

Given context, Rose's 2011 MVP is totally justified. Bron didn't distinguish himself from his own teammate, let alone solo stars with defensive role players surrounding them in Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose.

And Derrick Rose was the lone star player on the team with the best record in the league. In 2011's case, the "decision" ruined LeBron and Wade's chances that season for MVP. It is what it is ... and Rose was absolutely deserving. 25 ppg 8 apg and was the clear cut leader for the best team in the regular season, that took the league by storm. His numbers v.s. elite opponents that year was absolutely stellar.

1. Skip Bayless. 'Nuff said.

2. Check the regular season stats for 2011. Now check the postseason stats for 2011.

Even without increasing values for playoff stats/ later rounds (for example, reg season = stats x 1; 1st round = stats x 1.25; 2nd = x 1.5; 3rd = x 1.75; Finals = x 2.0), Wade/James' aggregate season/postseason stats are essentially dead even.

If we use the playoff-round-increasing-value method, then, it's Wade going away.

ETA: Per 36, by any method, is Wade going away.

ETA2: Wade came through in the crunch in the Bulls series. He had James's back when it mattered. In the Finals, the roles were reversed, but Wade, um, did not really receive quite the same support....

Wow at all the people Getting their panties in a bunch over Wade. He has been Great lately close to his form of 2 or 3 years ago. He is an all time great but just happens to be playing with someone a little bit better who is playing phenomenal ball plus is the most Scrutinized player in NBA history.

Kings played there asses off, that was the best game Kings played all year and Miami played average at best and still won. Thornton just went completely berserk, Evans/Cousins/Salmons all shot over 50%. Miami while not trying can take other teams best punches and keep moving forward. As a Kings fan we pretty much got a lot of calls our way as well Cousins should have been fouled out at least twice but refs let it go.

It is the regular season.. Upsets happen and least miami avoided it.

Kings should feel pretty good it took a 40,16,8 game from Lebron and 39 from wade to beat them.
